28 Fore St, Fowey, Cornwall, PL23 1AQ,
The Old Quay House is undoubtedly one of Cornwall's most exciting boutique hotels. One of the most idyllic waterfront locations in Cornwall. Twenty-first-century boutique styling is cleverly juxtaposed with traditional architecture, with the sort of flair rarely seen outside the Metropolis. There is an eclectic collection of furnishings and ornaments, and this effortless styling is then carried through twelve individually designed rooms, seven of which benefit from estuary views and patios. Downstairs, the theme continues with a space of unique ambience. As you enter the hotel, you are greeted by a vista that cleverly draws your eye through the Q branded restaurant, on to the sun terrace and then the glittering Fowey estuary beyond. For any discerning visitor to Cornwall, The Old Quay House has to be a serious consideration. Our gorgeous new bedrooms each offer something to suit everyone's taste. The hotel does not have a car park. However, there is short term parking in the centre of town and two large car parks on the outskirts of the town. All of these are pay and display..

Situated in West Looe, The Fieldhead is only a fifteen minute walk along the waterside to the centre of town. In summer, a passenger ferry plys across the harbour mouth. Station Road, Padstow, Cornwall, PL28 8DB,
The Jewel in the Crown of the North Cornwall Coast. Work on the Metropole was started in 1900 and the hotel opened its doors in 1904. It was built by the sons of John Cory and Sons, ship owners from Cardiff. It was built as much for the holidays of the extended family as for a commercial enterprise. The total cost including fitting was 12,000. The hotel was originally called The South Western, to benefit from the planned railway development but it was Southern Railways who eventually brought the trains to Padstow. This prompted the change of name. The railway brought many visitors on the direct line from Waterloo, including many M.P'S. The then Prince of Wales was a regular visitor for the golf, did Mrs. Simpson visit too? Not surprisingly there are no records of this! In 1936, following the deaths of the Cory Brothers, Trust House bought the hotel and it remained within the company until it was sold in June 2002 to the Richardson Group. Currently the hotel stands as Padstow's premier three star hotel, offering 50 bedrooms, with and without sea view, mini suites and three lovely four poster rooms. All our rooms are en suite with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Padstow has always been somewhere to go for good food. Our chefs are exercising their skills working with fine local produce, imaginative and well prepared dishes to restore you after a long day out. Top quality Cornish fish and meat, as well as local and seasonal vegetables, make regular appearances on our menus. Our aim in the Restaurant is to finish your day in style with good food served in a professional and friendly manner while you relax and take in the fabulous views over the Camel Estuary. Our Met Cafe Bar is the ideal place for a light lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal, informal and great value with the best view in Padstow. At present the exterior of the Hotel is undergoing redecoration work, minor disruption may occur. We now have Wireless Broadband available in our lounges and reception area..
From July 1st, 2007 the hotel is strictly non-smoking.
